Details for: Hitokappu Volcano Group [Bogatyr Ridge]
Stokap (center) lies at the SW end of Nishihitokappuyama, an elongated chain of small volcanoes on southern Iturup Island. Nishihitokappuyama consists of a cluster of small NE-SW-trending late-Pleistocene to Holocene cones and craters. Stokap contains 8-10 cones and craters, the largest of which contains a lake.
