Masaraga is a sharp-topped, forested andesitic-to-ryholitic stratovolcano about 11 km NW of Mayon volcano. Thick lava flows occur on the flanks. It was classified as Holocene by IAVCEI (1973), and K-Ar dates of zero age were obtained.
